ITAP 2010 6 weeks. The principle of future movies: digital 5 tell stories

Task: show how a chosen  TV series or film   use multiple platform or extended form to engage  audience.

In order to engaged in the audience, in many cases, the film will use multiple platforms or expansion forms to publicize the film. Media company, website, television, magazines, newspapers, billboards, websites, etc, for example, the film - knight a day ，an action comedy and Cameron diaz starring Tom cruise in 2010, this is mann gore's director James.

the trailer of the film show on as advertising on TV to attract the audience, it can revealsome of the important  plots of the film to attracting the audience .

Trailer also can be publicity with attract audiences using in website , I think this is the most important way to attract  the audience, because the Internet is the best platform, share or report information. It has extensive target. except special website or blogs, social media movie page, also can upload it was browsing website online media channle like to put it on YouTube, Vimeo .

  

       The radio ads to attract the radio audience, because listeners  will feel attractive that the description of the movie truly compelling wonderful stories of the film by the DJ  .
     
       Magazine covers and pages, and special presentations of the film is also very involved in the audience, the reader can see the film attrahent photos.

 I think  another one,posters is a good way to comprehensive ,you can set it anywhere on the street.also can sent the  leaflet every passer-by .it has many different languages poster. It is to ensure that all audience, no matter which country he came, he could understand.

    

     The billborad is useful ,you can see it when you walk in the street, or when you drive just to wait at the traffic light, it will focus on, you can see it.   

 other one, the posters, bus cover is beneficial.

Filmfest, nowadays, many filmfest is useful for propaganda.

task:show how an example of video information graphics gives visual form to hard facts.

    Many hard facts or complex information we can't present by article because it's hard to understand.sometimes,people will use traditional way to present it.such as curve diagram,line plots, pie chart......

it's ugly and boring.but if done it by visual forms,it's really more easy for audience to understand and remember the hard fact or the complex date.here is a example of video information graphics.

    this video use a visual forms to show the information to audience.if i show u the data in this way:

    i think u will stop read it before u read through of it ,because it's so boring and the complex date make u confuse.but why display the same data ,but the video more interesting ?i think there a few feature in the video.

    

    firstly,video always more interesting than the article.and the music make u relax.

    secondly,it present just one information in one frames,not like a large part of sentence,make u don't want to see it.

    thirdly,it display one information word by word,and use different way to present the words to emphasize the key words .

    fourthly,the colour of the background change every frames make u relax to see the boring data.

    lastly,the rhythm of the music and the way of the words come out and the different layout of the data,make u interesting in it and make u enjoy it .the video make don't feel that u see the boring data ,but just watch a interesting video like other videos .at the same time u got the information.

Functional drawing .

I think drawing by hand is important for a designer.when you draw your work by hand.you will find something you unexpectedly.may be the trouble you ignore,may be A better idea which you get the inspiration during you work in your hand.
drawing is important ,i think it doesn't matter that if you drawing wonderful.more important is how you draw your think,you idea.can you express yourself,can you catch you inspiration when you drawing.it's a good thing that you make some mistake when you drawing.because maybe you can get a windfall for your mistake.

like this picture ,it's contradictory space,but it's a especial visual effect,because you can't make this effect in a right drawing way,or by excellent computer.

and sometimes you can draw with plan,just work by hand and make it tightness connection with your brain.just relax ,like playing,where you think where you draw ,draw in a different thinking way .not as usual.

And i think draw by hand is a way to express yourself.because someone always get a good idea ,but he can't express it .it's the same as he get nothing.drawing is useful,you can express yourself without words,mostly,we find something hard to describe or speak out by your mouth .you can use drawing.for example,

it's a poster of child sexual abuse ,sexual is a sensitive and taboo topic of society even in children domain .but we can't avoid to mention it when we do something to stop it ,to forbid it.At this time i think drawing is a good way.and you will find that no more words ,you can understand what it talk about.but why ,i think it's visual language.why you know that poster is for child sexual abuse,but not for adult sexual abuse?it's because ,the picture tell you,the shape of body tell us it a body of child,you also can think like this ,if is for adult,the shape of the body should be more sexy.
